We are thrilled to add Britanny Eyking to our Instructor Roster for 2015. Britanny has been dancing for over 18 years, and she has competed and performed all over the Maritimes. Having been trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Cabaret, Britanny has been a top soloist at nearly every competition since she began dancing, as well as a member of top group performances throughout those years. Britanny trained with Kim Roper at Northside dance for 13 years, and then with Denise Jardine at D&R Dance for her last 2 years of competitive dance. She also spent 2 years with us here at the MacArthur School of Dance from 2011-2013, taking Highland and Step Dance, as well as performing Contemporary, Jazz and Lyrical Choreography under Kelly’s direction. Britanny spent 6 months in New York studying with a dance program at Broadway Dance Centre, and she has travelled to Toronto, Montreal, Los Angeles and New York for training throughout her dance years.
Brittany is a member of the D&R Dance teaching staff, and has been teaching classes and choreographing dances there for the past few years. She will also be teaching at our school full time starting this fall ~ instructing Junior & Teen Jazz, Lyrical and Contemporary classes. Britanny studied in Toronto this summer with the Folleys, and is now certified with her Level 1 ADAPT Dance Teaching Certification.
